Veteran Muscle Shoals, Alabama sound engineer known for his work with Jerry Wexler (#3) and Barry Beckett (#4). He has engineered sessions with Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Wilson Pickett, Willie Nelson, Dire Straits, Canned Heat, Levon Helm, Sam & Dave, Millie Jackson, Dr. Hook, Sister Sledge, and many more. He is also a songwriter, sometimes collaborating with longtime friend cris moore (2). His career began in 1971 at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio; he was still active as of 2015.
